I am a postdoctoral researcher in mathematical analysis at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. I am currently working in the group of Manuel Friedrich at the Institute of Analysis at JKU Linz.
My research concerns the analysis of problems from continuum mechanics and materials science by means of the calculus of variations and the theory of partial differential equations. Specific research topics include:
• multiphysics problems with Eulerian-Lagrangian formulation
• cavitation and fracture in nonlinear elasticity
• rate-independent evolutions
• reduced theories for thin structures
The recording of a recent talk of mine is available here .
