Maps Lead Finder ("the extension") is a Chrome extension that helps users find local businesses without a website in Google Maps search results and contact them. This policy explains what data the extension handles.
When you start a search, the extension reads publicly listed business information shown in Google Maps for your search: business name, category, phone number, address, rating, number of reviews, whether a website is listed, and an email address if one is shown in the listing.
The extension does not collect your name, email, browsing history, passwords, location or any other personal information about you.
All results, settings and message templates are stored locally on your computer using Chrome's extension storage. They are not sent to the developer or to any server. You can delete them at any time with the "Delete all" button in the dashboard, or by removing the extension.
The extension creates a random Device ID (for example K7M2QX9P) and keeps a count of free-trial results. These values are stored in Chrome's local and sync storage. If Chrome sync is on, they are synced through your Google account like any other extension setting. Activation codes are checked offline inside the extension. You share your Device ID with the developer only if you choose to request an activation code.
The extension uses Chrome's tab capture only to keep the Google Maps search tab active while it runs in the background. The captured stream is tiny (low resolution, 1 frame per second), is never recorded, saved, displayed or transmitted, and stops when the search finishes or is stopped.
WhatsApp Web, the WhatsApp app or your email program is opened only when you click a WhatsApp or Email button. Messages are sent by you, from your own account. The extension never sends messages automatically.
The developer does not sell, share or transfer any data. The extension contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and it does not load remote code.
You are responsible for using collected business information in line with applicable laws, including anti-spam and data-protection rules in the countries you contact.
