Maple Prime's discount code REF-9915 takes 5% off. That percentage only becomes meaningful once you attach it to a basket, and because it is a flat rate with no tiers, the arithmetic is simple: the saving is one twentieth of your merchandise subtotal.
On a US$40 basket that is US$2. On US$60 it is US$3. A US$100 order saves US$5, and a US$200 gift-set or multi-bottle order saves US$10. There is no minimum-spend ladder and no bonus rate at higher values, so the only way to increase the cash saving is to increase the spend — which is rarely a good reason to spend more.
Put another way, the code is worth roughly the price of half a standard delivery charge on a mid-sized order. Maple Prime charges US$5.99 for standard delivery on orders under US$49, so on a US$60 basket the 5% saving of US$3 covers about half of what shipping would have cost had you stayed below the threshold.
The first catch is the base the percentage is calculated on. The discount applies to the merchandise subtotal only. It does not reduce shipping, taxes or gift wrapping. If your order total is inflated by a US$5.99 delivery fee and sales tax, the 5% is calculated on the smaller product figure underneath, not the number you actually pay.
That gap matters most on small orders. A US$30 fragrance with US$5.99 delivery costs US$35.99 before tax; the code trims US$1.50, not US$1.80.
Free standard shipping in the U.S. applies to orders over US$49. Standard delivery otherwise costs US$5.99 and usually takes 3-5 business days.
This creates the sharpest edge case for the code. If your merchandise subtotal is, say, US$50, the 5% discount reduces it by US$2.50 to US$47.50 — below the threshold. Whether free-shipping status survives once the discount is applied on baskets near US$49 is not stated by Maple Prime and should be checked on site. If it does not survive, you would trade a US$2.50 saving for a US$5.99 charge and end up worse off. On a basket hovering just above US$49, either add a little more or watch the order summary closely before authorising payment.
Retailers usually allow only one discount code per order, and REF-9915 may not be combinable with redeemed loyalty rewards on the same order. Whether Maple Prime Club rewards can be combined with the code is one of the points Maple Prime does not spell out, so treat it as unconfirmed.
That matters because Maple Prime runs two other value routes:
The Maple Prime Club loyalty programme, which earns points on purchases and offers member discounts and VIP perks.
A referral programme giving a friend US$15 off their first order and the referrer US$15 off their next order.
A flat US$15 is worth more than 5% on any basket under US$300, so a first-time buyer with access to a referral link has a clearly larger saving available. Since only one code is typically accepted per order, these are competing options rather than complementary ones.
Build your cart from the fragrance catalogue or the skincare and cosmetics range and open the cart page.
Proceed to checkout and complete your shipping details.
On the payment step, find the discount or gift card field in the order summary column — on mobile it may sit behind a 'show order summary' toggle.
Enter REF-9915 exactly as written, hyphen included, and apply it.
Check that a discount line appears and that shipping has not changed from free to US$5.99 before you authorise payment.
One last figure to weigh: returns must be sealed in original packaging, and shipping and gift wrapping fees are not refunded. On a US$100 order, the 5% code saved US$5 — less than the US$5.99 delivery charge you would forfeit if you returned a sub-US$49 order. The discount is a small, reliable trim rather than a buffer against a change of mind, so it is worth being confident in the bottle before ordering.
