About

Hi! I am working as research assistant at the Chair of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing at Technical University of Munich (TUM). My work is related to computer vision, thermal imaging and artificial intelligence. Prof. Thomas Kolbe is supervisor for my doctoral thesis.

Previously I worked as Software Developer at Ankhlabs GmbH - a startup company.  There  I worked in the Software development lifecycle - Backend and frontend, API, Web applications, integration, deployment, delivery, testing, bug fixing, release, monitoring and maintenance.  I have gained experience in databases, cloud computing and version control. 
Before that, I worked as a researcher at Technical University of Munich (TUM) in Munich School of Robotics and Machine Intelligence from May 2019 until November 2019. My focus was on the intersection of control, vision and learning in Robotics. I combined the advances in those fields to establish a robot that has robust manipulation and decision making capabilities and can imitate human behaviour to a large extent. I worked on robot manipulation tasks with a single arm 7 DOF Franka Panda Robot, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sami Haddadin.

Prior to joining TUM, I obtained my Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Siegen, Germany  in 2019. My Master thesis was focused on computer vision and machine learning in Autonomous Driving. I was supervised by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hubert Roth. Prior to graduate school, I received my Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Assam Engineering College under Gauhati University, India.

Broadly speaking my research interests are in the application of Control Theory, Computer Vision and Machine Learning in Robotics, Autonomous Driving and related areas.
