Dr. Manoj Kumar is a DST Inspire Faculty at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. He is also an Honorary Researcher at the Green Electronics Lab at the University of Glasgow (QS ranking 78), Scotland, UK, where he was previously affiliated. He has been selected as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at various universities, including the University of Alberta (QS ranking 94), Canada, the University of Perugia (QS ranking 534), Italy, and Shenzhen University, China. He was selected for the MSCA proposal at King's College London (ranked 35 in QS) and the Banting proposal at the University of Alberta, Canada.
He has published various papers in IEEE journals on energy harvesting rectennas, including the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation (TAP), IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques (MTT), IEEE Sensors Journal, and IEEE Microwave and Wireless Technology Letters (MWTL). He completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at IIT Ropar in May 2023, his Master's in Electronics at Kurukshetra University (Main Campus) in 2018, and his Bachelor's in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Punjab Technical University in 2016. He completed his secondary education at Government Senior Secondary Boys School, Jakhal Mandi.
