Dr. Manjisha Sinha (PhD)

By day, A Consultant in NITI Aayog (Apex Think Tank of India), a researcher, and lifelong learner. 

Currently, I am doing techno-economic appraisals of Government Schemes and policies.  

I completed my PhD in Agricultural Economics from National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal. My doctoral thesis titled "Extent of Poverty and Its Determinants in Rural Households of Bihar: A Multidimensional Approach" was on examining the Multidimensional poverty existing in rural areas of Bihar. Before that, I did my master's from Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University, Tirupati, AP. My Master's work was on the Production and value chains of Non-Wood Forest Products. Started my agricultural journey from Bihar Agricultural University, Bhagalpur, Bihar. 

The focus of my research involves poverty alleviation, nutrition, natural resource economics, forest products, policies & programs related to agriculture ......
