Dr. Manish Varun Yadav is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering, currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering at the Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), part of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Udupi, since September 2022. He completed his PhD from BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus, specializing in antenna and microwave engineering. His extensive research contributions encompass cutting-edge areas like high-power antennas, ultra-wideband (UWB) technologies, and compact planar antennas for military and defense communications, as well as 5G, 6G, and advanced communication systems.

With an impressive portfolio of 32 SCI/Scopus-indexed journal papers, 25 IEEE conference papers, 20 patents, one book, and five book chapters, Dr. Yadav's work reflects a deep commitment to pushing the boundaries of antenna and communication system design. His research focuses on designing antennas capable of operating at high power levels while meeting stringent performance standards, particularly in the context of beamforming, massive MIMO, millimeter-wave, and UWB applications.

Dr. Yadav has established himself as a leader in both academic and professional circles. He serves as the Faculty Advisor for the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS) Student Branch Chapter at MIT, and also He serves as the Faculty Advisor for the  IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (APS) Student Branch Chapter at MIT, guiding students in the fields of aerospace and electronic systems. His role also includes mentoring PhD students and contributing to the academic and research community at MIT.

A Senior Member of IEEE, a Member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), and a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Dr. Yadav’s contributions to microwave engineering and advanced antenna system design have earned him a prominent place in the international academic community. His collaboration with defense and research institutions underscores his dedication to applying research to real-world challenges, especially in the realm of high-power military communications..
