Welcome to Manga Reader King, an application developed and operated by Monstera Labs ("we," "us," "our," or the "Company"). By accessing or using the Manga Reader King mobile application (the "Service" or "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease use of the App.

1. Description of Service & Content Disclaimer

Manga Reader King is a technical intermediary between the user and the external manga sources for convenience. The Service facilitates access to digital manga through a multi-tiered delivery model:

1.1 Content Partnerships & Licensed Works: Monstera Labs LLC is committed to supporting the creative community. We are actively expanding our catalog through direct partnerships with independent creators, artists, and authorized digital distributors. The App serves as a platform for content where the Company is the authorized distributor or is currently in the process of onboarding licensed materials.

1.2 Information Location Tool: Pursuant to DMCA Section 512(d), the App functions as a neutral “Information Location Tool.” It provides a specialized technological interface for user-directed navigation to publicly available digital content provided by independent third-party publishers and external web sources.

1.3 Passive Conduit: The App acts as a platform to facilitate access to external sources. Monstera Labs does not host, store, upload, or manage any image files, comics, or manga content on its servers.

1.4 Third-Party Content: Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by the Company. Monstera Labs has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.

1.5 Availability: We do not guarantee that any specific content will be available. Sources may be added or removed at any time without notice. Your use of third-party links is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.

2. Content (User-Generated Content)

2.1 Your Right to Generate and Posting Content

Our Service allows You, other users, and third parties to generate and post content. You are responsible for the Content that You generate and post, including its legality and reliability. By generating and posting, You grant Us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, reproduce, and distribute such Content on the Service. You retain ownership of Your Content but are responsible for protecting those rights.

2.2 Content Restrictions

You are solely responsible for all activity under your account. You may not transmit any Content that is unlawful, offensive, upsetting, intended to disgust, threatening, libelous, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. This includes:

• Illegal Activity: Promoting or engaging in unlawful acts.

• Hate Speech: Defamatory or discriminatory content regarding religion, race, sexual orientation, or gender.

• Spam: Unauthorized advertising, chain letters, or gambling.

• Malware: Containing viruses, worms, or software designed to disrupt hardware/telecommunications.

• Infringement: Violating patent, trademark, or copyright rights of any party.

• Impersonation: Pretending to be another person, entity, or Company representative.

The Company reserves the right (but not the obligation) to monitor, refuse, or remove any Content at its sole discretion. As we cannot control all user-posted content, you agree to use the Service at your own risk.

2.3 Content Backups

While we perform regular backups, the Company does not guarantee there will be no loss or corruption of data. You agree to maintain an independent copy of any Content you post. Monstera Labs has no liability related to the integrity of Content or failure to restore it.

3. Intellectual Property & Copyright Policy (DMCA)

Monstera Labs respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to us. Monstera Labs LLC maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding copyright infringement. We operate under the "Safe Harbor" provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

3.1 Ownership: 

• All manga, titles, characters, and illustrations are the property of their respective copyright holders (authors and publishers). Monstera Labs LLC does not claim any ownership over the content viewed through the App.

• Official & Partner Titles: These are works where Monstera Labs LLC acts as the digital distributor or is in the process of securing formal partnerships. we respect the exclusive rights of authors and publishers regarding these works.

• Third-Party Indexed Works: For content accessed via our technical interface (as defined in Section 1.2), the Company expressly disclaims all ownership, control, or intellectual property rights. All copyrights, titles, and interests in such works belong to their respective copyright holders, authors, and publishers. The display of such content via our information location tool does not constitute an endorsement or ownership by the Company.

3.2 DMCA Compliance: As we do not host content, we cannot delete files from the source. However, we will "expeditiously" disable access to infringing links within our App upon receiving a valid notice.

3.3 Takedown Procedure: If you are a copyright owner and believe that content linked via this App infringes your rights, please submit a formal notice to Designated Copyright Agent:

3.4 Notice Requirements: Your notice must include:

  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed

  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address

  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law

  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

4. Proprietary Rights of Monstera Labs

While we do not own the manga content, all App-specific elements, including but not limited to the source code, user interface (UI), graphics, logos, and features, are the exclusive property of Monstera Labs. Unauthorized reproduction, reverse engineering, or distribution of these proprietary elements is strictly prohibited.

5. User Obligations & Conduct

By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

5.1 Age Requirement: You are at least 17 years of age. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

5.2 Prohibited Uses: You agree NOT to:

• 1. Use the App for any commercial purpose.

  2. Use automated scripts, spiders, or "scrapers" to access or extract data from the App.

  3. Circumvent any security features or content-filtering mechanisms.

  4. Use the App for any illegal activities according to your local and international laws.

5.3 Responsibility: You are solely responsible for any data charges or legal consequences resulting from your use of the App.

6. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law

6.1 "As-Is" Basis: THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. Monstera Labs does not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

6.2 Limitation: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MONSTERA LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

6.3 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Monstera Labs is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Sheridan, Wyoming

7. Indemnification

7.1 You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Monstera Labs, its officers, and developers from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, or legal fees arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms.

• Your violation of any third-party right, including copyright or privacy rights.

• Any claim that your use of the App caused damage to a third party.

8. Modifications & Severability

8.1 Modifications: Monstera Labs reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon being posted within the App. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8.2 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions will continue to be in full force and effect.

9. Subscriptions & User Accounts

9.1 Subscriptions

• Period & Billing: Some parts of the Service require a paid Subscription. You will be billed in advance on a recurring basis (daily, weekly, monthly, or annually).

• Automatic Renewal: Your Subscription will automatically renew under the same conditions unless canceled by You or the Company.

• Cancellations: You may cancel renewal through your Apple Account settings. No refunds are provided for fees already paid; access continues until the end of the current period.

• Fee Changes: The Company may modify fees at its discretion. Fee changes take effect at the end of the current period. We will provide reasonable prior notice of any changes.

9.2 User Accounts

When creating an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. Failure to do so is a breach of Terms and may result in immediate termination. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities occurring under your account.
