Welcome to PDF Manager. We provide PDF utility tools for document management and processing. This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our application.
PDF Manager is designed as a local utility tool. We do not require account registration or the collection of personally identifiable information (PII) to access core features.
Device Information: We may collect technical data such as device model, operating system version, and language settings to ensure application compatibility and functionality.
Usage Statistics: We collect aggregated, non-identifying information about feature usage. This data is used to analyze application performance and guide functional updates.
All document processing tasks, including merging, converting, splitting, and scanning, are performed locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or monitor the content of your PDF files on external servers.
Any temporary files created during processing are stored in the application's local directory and can be removed by clearing the app cache or uninstalling the application.
To provide its intended functions, PDF Manager may request the following permissions:
Storage/Media Access: Required to read, edit, and save PDF documents stored on your device.
Camera Access: Required for the "Scan to PDF" feature to capture images of physical documents for conversion.
Foreground Service: Utilized to maintain process stability during document tasks (such as merging or converting files) to prevent task interruption or data loss.
We may use third-party service providers, such as advertising networks or analytics platforms, to support the maintenance of the application. These partners may collect pseudonymous identifiers (such as Advertising IDs) in accordance with their own privacy policies. These third parties do not have access to your personal documents or the content processed within the app.
We implement standard security measures to protect the limited data processed by the app. Since your documents are processed locally and not stored in a cloud environment, the risk of unauthorized access to your file content is minimized.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for regulatory reasons. Updates are effective immediately upon being posted within the application. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.
