At the time Socrates reached his Evolution of the Soul, in his contemplation he asked himself:
Who is my Real Self?
What and Where is my Origin?
Where will I be after death?
The long history of human beings tell us that the search for the Real Self and the Real Origin, God, has extended to unpredictable ways. Discussions of these topics often end in harsh and vicious discords, disputes, and even bloodshed.
The real difference is quite simple - it is only because of the difference in:
Field of Study: Analyzing the Macrocosm or Microcosm.
Directions of Attention (= Direction of Analysis): Without or Within.
Different answers regarding The Real Self and Real God - will lead us to a Linea Recta, Diametrically Opposed to The True Purpose of Life.
These are the Three Main Topics discussed in this Exceptional Book, dealing with the potential of Human Beings.
Who or what is our Real Self?
Who or what is the Original Source of the Real Self that we name God?
The True Purpose of Life will lead us to a paradoxical End of Life Journey, becoming:
- The Perfect Man (Insan-ul-Kamil)
- Man-Animal (Insan-ul Haywani)
God has placed all the Spiritual Treasures within this Human Form. The key to open it lies in the hand of a True Spiritual Guru. He must be someone who has completed the Spiritual Journey, which is:
Realizing his True Self as The Spirit - by unraveling the Body and Mind coverages through The Art of Dying while Living.
Realizing the True God - by merging his Spirit into the Ocean of Spirit, God - through Surat Shabda Yoga (= Shugal-i-Saut-i-Sarmadi = Practice of hearing the Divine Melody)
Anyhow, only at the time of Death when the play on the stage is over - everything will be widely open to us, what is Right and Wrong. Unfortunately, at such a time, regret will solve nothing.
May our evolution of the Spirit mature enough to understand the need to unravel the Mystery that the Writers of this book are trying to discover.

Discover the transformative journey of Widyo D. Soeryo, an inspiring author who has dedicated his life to the profound exploration of "The Art of Dying While Living."
Born in Malang, East Java, Indonesia, in June 1956 into a Spiritual family, Widyo was exposed to the mysteries of the Spiritual realm from an early age. From Sword slash block by bare hand – leaving a vague tiny red scratch until seeing Man who can fly to the roof of the building and even run on a water.
In 1980, Widyo's father, as well as his first Master in spirituality, found a True Spiritual Master, Huzur Maharaj Charan Singh Ji from Radha Soami Satsang Beas's line of Mastership. His father was initiated in June while Widyo was initiated in December the same year.
Guided by his father, a Spiritual master who combined Spiritual service with worldly success, Widyo learned to balance the material and Spiritual aspects of life. His Spiritual awakening deepened at the age of 44 when he immersed himself in studying and practicing "The Art of Dying While Living," an ancient art that empowers individuals to embrace life with a higher purpose.
With over 24-year experience in teaching this unique method since his Father as well as his first Spiritual Master passed away, Widyo has become a guiding light for those seeking a deeper understanding of life, and the eternal quest for inner peace. His approach to "The Art of Dying While Living" transcends traditional perceptions by offering practical tools for everyday life that empower individuals to confront their fears when leaving this world one day. His teachings emphasize mindful dying-while-living practices, Spiritual growth, and the contemplation of Death as a pathway to personal transformation.
The inspiration to compose the book entitled “Death and The Art of Dying while Living”, emerged not long after the passing of his beloved wife.
