I just built a coaster and have an issue with cars having to wait at the top of the chain lift for the section to clear. this happens every time. Is there is a way to ignore chain lifts as a block section? that way the cars wouldnt have to stop and everything would flow nicely.

The Eibach Lift Block system is designed to increase the lift on solid-axle trucks that use leaf spring suspension. The Lift Block system consists of a pair precision machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum blocks, a set of U bolts to secure them to the axle, and bump stop spacers (when necessary). Available in 1" and 1.5" lift heights, Lift Blocks are the perfect complement to your PRO-TRUCK COILOVER or PRO-TRUCK-LIFT system.

If you utilize your truck for hauling or towing, you may need to increase the rake to offset the drop caused by the added weight on the rear axle. What is rake? Rake is the difference in height between the front and rear of a vehicle. Manufacturers usually set the rear end higher than the front, so when weight is added, the truck is level. But after installing a suspension lift, you lose that stock rear height compensation. Lift Blocks will allow you to gain back that lost ride height when your rear axle is weighed down.

Lift Blocks or also called block and ubolt kits are used to raise the rear end of your truck or suvs. A block can be used to conjunction with add-a-leafs, stacked on existing blocks or by itself to add height.

The advantage of using a block is that it will not increase the firmness of your ride. At Jackit we offer various lift heights for specific makes and models to get you just the right kit for your vehicle.

If you are running extra tall shocks or front forks, your bike may experience an excessive angle when leaned over on the kickstand. Our kickstand lift block can help eliminate this issue. It bolts directly to the bottom of your kickstand with the supplied hardware and adds 1" or 2" to the height of the kickstand. The 1" version is used on most models with taller rear shocks and the 2" version is normally used for bikes with taller shocks and longer fork tubes. You just mark your kickstand with the supplied template, drill the two mounting holes and install it in place.

It is up to you the order you want to do the 4 / 2 week blocks of training. My advice is to start with a 2 week block just to get a baseline test score - whatever your fitness test is. For this case, we are doing the Navy BUDS PST (but it can be easily rearranged for the AF PAST or replaced by Army, USMC, other tests if you prefer.

Three to Four Week Lift Cycle - You can do whatever lift cycle you prefer. This can be one of you own making, classic powerlifting cycle, hypertrophy, or whatever your like to do in the gym. Or you can use any of my Fall / Winter Lift cycles below as they are also coupled with just the right amount of cardio needed to sustain PST levels of high scoring.

Then, once we are in the Spring / Summer PT / Cardio cycle, we will try adding a 1-2 week lift cycle in the basically doing a mirror image block periodization cycle. Depending on your needs, you may not need a strength week in the middle of a PT / Cardio block of training, but a few well placed supplemental lift routines can be helpful if you are concerned with losing to much strength. For most athletes, they tend to maintain the strength well, even during a PT / Cardio based cycle. See what is sufficient on the lifts with the Spec Ops Assessment Tool.

Stryker takes great pride in the work our Craftsman welders put into your lift components. We realize the you have entrusted us with your investment and more importantly your safety.

SPECIAL NOTE: For determining the right height block you need, keep in mind, we DO NOT recommend stacking blocks. That is unsafe and illegal. So to help determine the block height you need, determine how much higher you want the rear to be and then additionally ADD the height of the block you might be removing. Example: If you want to raise the rear 4" and you have a 2" block already, you will need to purchase a 6" block in order to accomplish that as you'll be removing 2" of block and adding 6" of block, therefore netting 4" of additional height.

Lift blocks are not our preferred method of lifting a rear suspension, but when built properly, they can be a quality addition to an upgraded suspension. We have designed the best lift blocks available for 2nd gen Dodge trucks by incorporating U bolt plates with our CNC-cut, MIG-welded, internally gusseted lift blocks. These blocks are made entirely out of 1/4" HRPO steel and are a great way to add a little bit more lift to your rear suspension when your factory block has been removed. By tying the blocks into the U bolts on the top and bottom, we have ensured that you cannot twist or spit out your block. These are designed to work with our U bolt flip and any leaf packs (stock or aftermarket), however they will also fit factory-style square U bolts. Since the blocks are fully welded and internally gusseted with all 1/4" American steel, you don't have to worry about breaking them. The blocks are built to order and available in several heights. Once they are cut and welded, we powder coat them with a satin black finish so they will look good under your truck.

Our rubber blocks are intended for use on all QuickJack systems. Stacked blocks may be used to increase the lift's overall rise for better OEM jack point accessibility. Each block is constructed out of a specially formulated hardness elastomer that exhibits outstanding resistance to gouging, cutting and abrasion, as well as chemical and solvent exposure. A durable wear resistant polymer compound is used to extend the life of the blocks. Our blocks are sold in sets of four.

Upgrade your vehicle's suspension with Trekline Motorsports Rear Lift Blocks, designed to provide an exceptional way to elevate the rear of your vehicle. These robust steel lifting blocks not only boast an attractive appearance but also offer unparalleled strength and durability to withstand the elements. Unlike many aluminum lift blocks on the market, which can crack and deteriorate over time, our heavy-duty steel blocks ensure superior longevity and performance.

These 1" thick lift blocks feature a Flat design (Not Tapered), with the front the rear measuring the same height. If your vehicle has a stock block from the factory that you plan to replace, be sure to choose a block with the appropriate height to achieve the desired lift. For example, if there is a 2" factory block and you want to lift the truck an additional 2", you would need a block measuring 4 inches thick to replace the factory block and still achieve the lift you want. Choose Trekline Motorsports Rear Lift Blocks for a reliable and long-lasting suspension upgrade.

The Defense Department policy remains the same as it did pre-blockade: In a post-Roe landscape where states set their own abortion policies, the Pentagon will continue to pay travel costs for service members who need to cross state lines for abortion or reproductive care.

Tommy Tuberville of Alabama announced Tuesday that he would lift his monthslong block on more than 400 military promotions – a move he had initiated in objection to a Defense Department policy that allows travel for service members seeking abortions or reproductive care.

The senator said he would release his hold on most of the promotions — with an exception of those who are up for a four-star ranking. “Those will continue,” he told reporters.

The Defense Department policy remains the same as it did pre-blockade: In a post-Roe landscape where states set their own abortion policies, the Pentagon will continue to pay travel costs for service members who need to cross state lines for abortion or reproductive care.

For most of the year, Tuberville, a Republican, blocked the promotions of all general and flag officers pending on the Senate floor, leaving crucial leadership posts vacant. Many lawmakers, advocates and military leaders argued that the vacancies were a threat to national security — particularly after the Marine Corps commandant had a heart attack in the weeks following the start of the war in Gaza, leaving vital posts unoccupied. Senate leaders chose to circumvent the blocks for a handful of promotions related to top positions in the Joint Chiefs of Staff, including Adm. Lisa Franchetti, the new head of the Navy and the first woman to hold the position.

The military holds have had a cascading effect: When high-level officers cannot assume command, everyone under those commands is also put in limbo. Families told The 19th that the uncertainty affected their housing situations, school plans and finances.

Kathy Roth-Douquet, the chief executive of Blue Star Families, said that the organization, a nonprofit that serves and advocates for military households, was grateful to the senators who helped work toward the end of the military holds.

“Over the course of this ill-advised stunt, Sen. Tuberville’s actions have harmed national security by causing enormous, force-wide, cascading effects that impacted planning and operations, and placed countless military families into hardship, around the world,” Roth-Douquet said in a statement. “Many military families strongly told us in a survey this summer that this promotion block has caused them to reconsider their perspective on military service, decreasing their willingness to recommend military service to others or even remain in military service themselves.”

Lawmakers from both parties worked for months to persuade Tuberville to change his mind, and many expressed relief that most of the promotions would proceed.

“I do want to stress that these men and women — and their families — have been going through this for 10 months,” Sen. Joni Ernst, an Iowa Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, told reporters ahead of Tuberville’s announcement, according to The Wall Street Journal. “They have not known what the rest of their life is going to look like for the past 10 months.”

Tuberville blamed the Pentagon and White House for “creating the problem,” by allowing the Defense Department policy to continue, but as months passed with no progress and anger grew on both sides of the aisle, the senator ultimately backed down without achieving his goal.

“We did the right thing for the unborn and for our military, fighting back against executive overreach,” he told reporters.

Sen.
