Bio
Welcome to my website! I am Mami Koyama, a postdoc at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. I'll be on the job market 2023-2024.
Interest
My main research field is management accounting. I am particularly interested in managing conflicting interests among diverse stakeholders, such as managers and employees, through the design of management control systems. I am also interested in corporate governance issues, such as internal audit and whistleblowing.
I employ analytical models to derive theoretical predictions and empirically test them through laboratory and online experiments.
In my spare time, I enjoy walking on trails, seeing wild animals, and sewing.
