There's quite a good reason Queen Helena has earned the nickname "Hell" from her lover. She's firey, quick-tempered, often irrational, and very bold. She's certainly not afraid of how others percieve her, and will do almost anything to get her way.

Before meeting Peri, she was close to a tyrant. She didn't care for her subjects at all, and she was quite greedy. Her motivation for her actions came from her lack of confidence as a ruler. She was afraid that she wasn't good enough to be ruling on her own, so she went down the path of corruption to distract her subjects from the fact that she was a very insecure leader.

Since meeting Peri, she has become much kinder and much more willing to listen to others' ideas and opinions. She's still her firey self, but she is much kinder, and she has a genuinely caring heart. Peri has helped her become more confident in her ability to rule.
