MALIA BROST
Laugh Love Live Aloha
I am Malia Brost, a sophomore at Florida Southern College where I am a Deans List student-athlete. I love competing and playing high level soccer. I am studying Business and Design, while continuing to train and play high level soccer.
In early 2021 I signed a Letter of Intent as a GAP year student-athlete with Soccer Management Institute (SMI) and Link University in Rome, Italy. In addition to SMI, I signed and played soccer with Trastevere Calcio Femminile. Rome was amazing and was exactly where I was meant to be at that time.
I am a 2021 graduate of Hawaii Preparatory Academy (HPA) and a Dean's List student athlete earning a 3.9+ GPA. My family moved to Waimea (Kamuela), Hawaii, just prior to my 5th grade school year. My parents wanted to immerse my older brother and I in the Hawaiian culture, as we are part Hawaiian with a deep and unique Hawaiian ancestry through my mom's side of the family.
I enjoy dancing Hula and have competed in several competitions, played many high school sports, I enjoy wood working with epoxy resins, I love animals, and am fairly fluent in Spanish. I have been in club soccer since I was 3 years old, played in countless camps and tournaments, and highlighting my memories by winning the 2018, 2019, and 2020 D2 Hawaii State Soccer Championships.
