말랑이(Malangi, 이하 “앱”)는 이용자의 개인정보와 대화 및 일기 기록을 중요하게 생각합니다.
본 개인정보처리방침은 앱에서 처리하는 정보의 종류, 이용 목적, 저장 방식, 외부 서비스 이용 및 삭제 방법을 설명합니다.

말랑이의 일부 대화 기능은 외부 AI 서비스를 이용하여 답변을 생성합니다.
AI 답변이 필요한 경우 이용자의 입력 내용과 답변 생성에 필요한 관련 문맥이 말랑이 서버로 전송될 수 있습니다.

현재 무료버전은 계정 기반 클라우드 백업 및 복원 기능을 제공하지 않습니다.
앱 삭제, 앱 데이터 삭제 또는 기기 변경 시 기기에 저장된 기록이 사라질 수 있으며, 복구되지 않을 수 있습니다.
다만 AI 대화 요청이나 광고 처리 등 일부 기능은 외부 서버 또는 서비스 제공자를 통해 처리될 수 있습니다.
이용자가 일기에 사진을 추가하면 앱은 이용자가 직접 선택한 사진에 접근합니다.
선택한 사진은 일기 기능에서 사용하기 위해 기기 내 앱 저장 영역에 복사되어 저장될 수 있습니다.

Malangi (“the App”) values the privacy of its users and the protection of their conversations and diary records.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed, why it is used, how it is stored, and how third-party services and data deletion are handled.
Malangi may process the following information to provide its services:
Conversations with Malangi and context needed to generate AI responses
Name or nickname provided by the user
Selected emotions and moods
Diary titles and contents
Photos selected by the user
Malangi growth and usage records
Free AI conversation usage counts
Malangi Jelly balances and usage records

The information actually processed depends on the features used and the App version.
Some conversation features use third-party AI services to generate responses.
When an AI response is required, the user's input and relevant conversation context may be transmitted to Malangi's server.
The server may forward this information to AI service providers, including Google or OpenAI, to generate a response.
This information is processed for the purpose of generating AI responses and providing related services.
Users are encouraged not to enter unnecessary sensitive information, such as passwords, financial details, or government identification numbers.
Most user data in the current version of Malangi is stored on the user's device.

Photos attached to diary entries

Malangi growth records
Malangi Jelly balances and usage status

Certain conversation-related memory information
The current free version does not provide account-based cloud backup or restoration.
Stored information may be lost if the App is uninstalled, App data is cleared, or the user changes devices.
However, some functions, including AI requests and advertising, may involve processing through external servers or service providers.
When a user adds a photo to a diary, the App accesses the photo selected directly by the user.
The selected photo may be copied to the App's local storage area for use in diary entries.
The current diary photo feature is intended to display and store user-selected photos within diary entries.
Features under development, such as AI conversations using photos, are not currently available.
Malangi may use advertising services, including Google AdMob, to support its free services.
Advertising providers may process information such as:

Malangi currently provides a free version of the App.

Uninstalling the App or clearing its data may also delete locally stored information.
Because cloud backup is not currently available, deleted local data may not be recoverable.

Users may contact the operator using the details below to request information about, or deletion of, personal information processed on service-operated servers. The applicable retention period and available actions depend on the purpose of processing, the system's operation, and applicable laws.
