1. このプライバシーポリシーについて

このプライバシーポリシーは、ブラウザ拡張機能「MakuWave - Live Comment Overlay」（以下「MakuWave」）が、YouTubeのライブ配信およびチャットリプレイ上でどのような情報を処理・保存するかを説明するものです。

2. MakuWaveが処理する情報

MakuWaveは、コメントオーバーレイ機能を提供するため、YouTubeのページ上で利用可能な以下の情報をブラウザ内で処理する場合があります。

・ライブチャットおよびチャットリプレイのコメント本文

・投稿者の表示名、チャンネル識別子、ハンドル等

・投稿者アイコンのURL

・メンバーバッジ、カスタム絵文字等の表示情報

・配信者、モデレーター、メンバー等のロール情報

・Super Chat、メンバー加入、メンバーシップギフト、マイルストーン等のイベント表示情報

これらの情報は、動画上へのコメント表示、投稿者表示、フィルター、NGユーザー機能、イベントカード表示等、MakuWaveの機能を提供する目的でのみ使用されます。

MakuWaveは、チャット内容を独自のチャット履歴データベースとして保存しません。

3. ブラウザ内に保存される情報

MakuWaveは、Chrome拡張機能のローカルストレージを使用して、以下の情報をユーザーのブラウザ内に保存します。

・コメントの表示速度、文字サイズ、色、透明度、表示位置、エフェクト等の表示設定

・UI言語、プリセット、フィルター等のMakuWave設定

・NGユーザーとして登録されたユーザーの識別情報

  （取得可能な場合、チャンネルID、ハンドル、表示名、アイコンURL等）

これらはMakuWaveの設定を維持し、次回利用時にも同じ設定を利用できるようにするために保存されます。

4. 情報の利用目的

MakuWaveが処理または保存する情報は、MakuWaveの単一の目的である「YouTubeのライブ配信およびアーカイブのチャットコメントを動画上にオーバーレイ表示し、ユーザーが見やすさや表示方法を調整できるようにすること」のためにのみ使用されます。

MakuWaveは、本来の機能と関係のない目的でユーザーデータを利用しません。

5. Chrome拡張機能の権限について

MakuWaveは、機能提供のためにChromeのstorage権限を使用します。

storage権限は、コメントの表示速度、文字サイズ、色、投稿者表示、フィルター、NGユーザー、プリセット等の設定をブラウザ内に保存するために使用します。

また、YouTube上でライブチャットおよびチャットリプレイを取得し、動画上にコメントを表示するために、YouTubeに対するホスト権限を使用します。

これらの権限は、MakuWaveのコメント表示機能を提供する目的にのみ使用されます。

6. 外部送信、共有および販売について

MakuWaveには、チャット内容、投稿者情報、NGユーザー情報、MakuWaveの設定情報等を、MakuWave開発者が運営するサーバーへ送信する機能はありません。

MakuWaveはユーザーデータを第三者へ販売しません。

MakuWaveはユーザーデータを広告目的で利用しません。

MakuWaveはユーザーデータを信用力の判断、融資、保険その他これらに類する目的で利用しません。

MakuWaveは独自のアクセス解析サービスや広告サービスへユーザーデータを送信しません。

7. YouTube / Googleとの通信について

MakuWaveの動作上、YouTubeのチャットフレームを読み込んだり、YouTube / Googleが提供する投稿者アイコン、バッジ、カスタム絵文字等の画像を表示したりする場合があります。

これらはYouTube / Googleのサービスとの通信であり、MakuWave開発者のサーバーへのデータ送信ではありません。

8. リモートコードについて

MakuWaveは、外部サーバーからJavaScript、WebAssemblyその他の実行コードをダウンロードして実行するリモートコード機能を使用していません。

MakuWaveの動作に必要なJavaScriptコードは、Chrome Web Storeから配布される拡張機能パッケージ内に含まれています。

9. 保存されたデータの削除

MakuWaveの初期化機能を使用することで、保存された設定やNGユーザー一覧を削除または初期化できます。

また、MakuWaveをChromeからアンインストールすることで、拡張機能としてブラウザ内に保存されているデータを削除できます。

10. YouTube / Googleとの関係

MakuWaveは独立したブラウザ拡張機能です。

MakuWaveはYouTubeまたはGoogleの公式製品ではなく、YouTubeまたはGoogleとの提携、承認、スポンサー関係を示すものではありません。

11. プライバシーポリシーの変更

MakuWaveの機能やデータの取り扱い方法に変更が生じた場合、このプライバシーポリシーを更新する場合があります。

変更がある場合は、このページの「最終更新日」を更新します。

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how MakuWave - Live Comment Overlay ("MakuWave") processes and stores information while providing comment-overlay features on YouTube live streams and chat replays.

2. Information processed by MakuWave

MakuWave may process the following information made available on YouTube pages:

・Live chat and chat replay message text

・Author display names, channel identifiers, handles, and similar identifiers

・Author avatar URLs

・Membership badges, custom emoji, and other display resources

・Role information such as streamer/owner, moderator, and member status

・Event information relating to Super Chats, memberships, membership gifts, and milestones

This information is used only to provide MakuWave features such as comment overlays, author display, filtering, blocked-user functionality, and event cards.

MakuWave does not maintain its own chat-history database.

3. Information stored locally

MakuWave uses Chrome extension local storage to save settings in the user's browser, including:

・Comment speed, font size, colors, opacity, position, effects, and other display preferences

・UI language, presets, filters, and other MakuWave settings

・Identifiers for users added to the blocked-user list, which may include channel ID, handle, display name, and avatar URL when available

This information is stored so that the user's MakuWave settings can be restored during future use.

4. Purpose of use

Information processed or stored by MakuWave is used only for MakuWave's single purpose: displaying YouTube live-stream and archived-chat comments as an overlay on video and allowing users to customize their visibility and presentation.

MakuWave does not use user data for purposes unrelated to this functionality.

5. Extension permissions

MakuWave uses Chrome's storage permission to save settings such as comment speed, font size, colors, author display preferences, filters, blocked users, and presets locally in the browser.

MakuWave also uses host permissions for YouTube in order to access live chat and chat replay content and display comments over the video.

These permissions are used only to provide MakuWave's comment-overlay functionality.

6. Data transmission, sharing, and sale

MakuWave does not include functionality that sends chat content, author information, blocked-user information, or MakuWave settings to servers operated by the MakuWave developer.

MakuWave does not sell user data.

MakuWave does not use user data for advertising.

MakuWave does not use user data for creditworthiness, lending, insurance, or similar purposes.

MakuWave does not send user data to developer-operated analytics or advertising services.

7. Communications with YouTube / Google

To function, MakuWave may load YouTube chat frames and display resources such as author avatars, membership badges, and custom emoji served by YouTube / Google.

These requests are communications with YouTube / Google services and are not transmissions to servers operated by the MakuWave developer.

8. Remote code

MakuWave does not download and execute JavaScript, WebAssembly, or other executable code from external servers.

JavaScript required for MakuWave is included in the extension package distributed through the Chrome Web Store.

9. Deleting stored data

Users can use MakuWave's reset controls to clear or reset saved settings and the blocked-user list.

Uninstalling MakuWave from Chrome also removes data stored by the extension from the browser.

10. Relationship with YouTube / Google

MakuWave is an independent browser extension.

It is not an official YouTube or Google product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if MakuWave's features or data practices change.

When this policy is updated, the "Last updated" date on this page will also be updated.
