Makson S. Santos

I completed my Ph.D. in August 2020 under the supervision of Prof. Edgard Pimentel. During my doctoral studies, I spent a year (Dec. 2018–Nov. 2019) as a Visiting Student at the University of Central Florida, where I collaborated with Prof. Eduardo Teixeira. From October 2020 to July 2021, I held a postdoctoral position at the Centro de Investigación en Matemáticas (CIMAT) under the mentorship of Prof. Héctor Chang-Lara. I subsequently held postdoctoral appointments at the University of São Paulo, ICMC-USP (Aug. 2021–Feb. 2022), supervised by Prof. Ederson Moreira dos Santos, and at Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon (Mar. 2022–Aug. 2024), supervised by Prof. Hugo Tavares. I am currently a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Lisbon and a member of the Center for Mathematical Studies (CEMS.UL / CMAFcIO).
