Evie and Kara O'Dor are a mother-daughter team of artists. Both work for a local public school district and enjoy co-teaching art classes together. Learn more about us below!
I'm Evie. I love my day job, teaching fifth grade at Rashkis Elementary School. I'm also an artist. I especially love art that uses undervalued materials, such as paper and cardboard. My teaching certifications are elementary K-6 with a concentration in reading, and art K-12.
Fun fact, when our family was young, we were all puppeteers, performing throughout North Carolina.
Hi, I'm Kara. I'm a TA at Ephesus Elementary and working on my teacher certification in Elementary Education. I have a Masters Degree in Scottish History and enjoy practicing historical handicrafts. I am a painter, illustrator, and fiber artist. I enjoy helping others learn how to creatively express themselves. I'm CPR and First-Aid certified for both children and adults. karaodor.com
Fun fact! My mom still owes me $15 from one of those puppet shows back when I was 9.
