Ever wondered how much do you spend on the conventional diapers per month? The expenses of the newborn child already soaring the skies, what should one switch on to save the costs of diapers?
There are many types of diapers available in the market, but the most common is the non-reusable diapers. These non-reusable diapers are also called conventional diapers. The most significant disadvantage of traditional diapers is that one cannot use it again after one use and dispose of it off. Many mothers worldwide have always been complaining about the rising expenses and the diapers adding to it. The best way to cut short the cost and have a reliable and comfortable using experience is to switch to the cloth diapers. Made of cloth, these diapers can be used even after many uses. One has to wash the diapers after use and reuse them.
Reduction in the Non-Reusable Diapers-
Many conventional nappy companies have seen a steady downfall of their sales since many mothers have already switched on to modern cloth nappies. These nappies are made of many cloth materials ranging from wood pulp to the polyester materials. All these diaper cloth materials are very soft and comfortable and do not irritate the infant. Pure cloth diapers are never used since they do not have the absorbent quality. These diapers are then lined with polyester fabrics to induce the absorbent quality in the cloth diapers. Many companies manufacture cloth diapers across the globe, which are lined perfectly with polyester fabrics and function just like the conventional diapers do.
Types of Cloth Diapers-
There is a wide range of cloth diapers that are manufactured. They come in all shapes and sizes. Many mothers prefer those shapes which are comfortable and convenient for their infant.
1. Flat- The cloth nappies are balanced absorbent quality. They are lined with polyester. The most significant disadvantage of this flat nappy is that it is made of a single layer. The single-layer makes it less reliable since it quickly gets wet and thus infects the baby’s skin.
2. Pre fold and shaped diapers are multi-folded and layered with different shapes, making it the most common nappy in the market. The multi-layers of the nappy make it more reliable, keeping the skin of the infant non-infectious. You can even purchase nappy rash cream, in case of rashes.
3. Tie-up diapers- These nappies are multi-folded and then fastened across the waist of the infant. There are both advantages and disadvantages of using this nappy. The fastening at the waistline causes creases on the child's skin, but the multi-layers make it reliable to use for a longer time.
