BAMBOO POLES

Original photo was taken at my family rice farm on Samar Island, Philippines using a Fujifilm FinePix A205 camera. The modified photo below adds a pattern overlay to bring deeper meaning — a nod to the weaving culture that remains. Seen here, my cousins are able to balance along the narrow pathway between fields as they head out to build with bamboo.
