DESIGN

A series of buildings sited along the eastern half of a neighborhood park with a steep cliff to the north overlooking the rodeo arena, town & surrounding views beyond. A strong relationship to the water tower as an element of life provided the conceptual framework for its form and spatial arrangement. Like the water tower, the movement of water throughout as a constant re-source and used as a strategy to close oneself from the world of noise, confusion and conflict.

DETAILS

Mixed Media:
Originally drawn with colored pencil & pastels on brown paper 20" x 30" sheets and Post production using Adobe Photoshop to create a singular presentation through a blue overlay connecting to lights & darks of water's depth.
