DESIGN
The pavilion was conceptually designed to educate the cyclical path of rain. Captured from the roof, water is channeled down the columns and disappears into the concrete slab. As one leaves or enters the park, water is revealed especially on those rainy Seattle days emptying onto sculptural basins below and finally into a rain garden.
