Md Mainul Islam (Mainul Fuad)

I am an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at United International University and a software industry professional with experience in project management, software quality assurance and software engineering.

I completed my BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from United International University with a CGPA of 3.92 out of 4.00, graduating Summa Cum Laude. During my undergraduate studies, I received seven 100% merit-based tuition scholarships and worked as a teaching assistant and laboratory evaluator.

My research interests include software engineering, large language models, automated API testing, machine learning, computer vision and healthcare-focused intelligent systems. My current research examines the adequacy and reliability of LLM-generated REST API tests. I am also interested in privacy-preserving AI, federated learning and applied machine learning systems.

Alongside research and teaching, I have several years of industry experience managing software products and quality-assurance activities for international clients. My long-term goal is to pursue a PhD and contribute to impactful research and university teaching.
