For the purposes of applicable data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") where applicable, we are the controller responsible for the processing of your personal data described in this Privacy Policy.
The App is primarily designed to store and process your habit, event, reminder, and health-sync data locally on your device. Depending on how you use the App, we may process the following categories of data.
When you use the App, we may process data you enter or generate, including:
habit and area names
icons, colors, goals, units, reminders, start dates, and schedule settings
event entries, including dates, durations, quantities, moods, reflections, and notes
time off / pause settings
import and export data you choose to create or restore
This data is used to operate the App and provide its habit tracking, statistics, reminders, history, and widget features.
If you choose to use health sync features, the App may, with your permission, access health and fitness data from:
Apple Health / HealthKit on iOS
Health Connect on Android
Depending on the sync source you choose, this may include categories such as:
steps
exercise or workout sessions
walking, running, cycling, swimming, hiking, strength training, dancing, skiing, and similar activity/workout records
distance
exercise calories / active energy
sleep
hydration / water
floors or flights climbed
The App uses this data to:
create and operate health-synced habits
backfill synced history from your selected start date
create or update synced completion records inside the App
calculate progress, streaks, graphs, statistics, and widget displays
perform periodic or background sync where supported by the operating system
Important:
Health access is optional.
You can deny or revoke health permissions at any time in Apple Health, iOS Settings, Health Connect, or Android Settings, depending on your platform.
If permissions are revoked, health sync features may stop working or may become incomplete.
On Android, historical access may depend on the permissions granted by Health Connect and platform limitations.
We do not use health data for advertising, marketing, or sale to data brokers.
If you enable reminders, the App may process reminder schedules and notification-related data in order to:
schedule local notifications
show reminders on your device
refresh reminder schedules in the background where supported
If you use home screen widgets, the App may store a subset of habit data in widget-related local storage on your device so that widgets can display up-to-date information. This may include, for example:
habit name
icon
colors
goal information
recent event summaries
streak/progress information
estimated duration or quantity where relevant
This data is stored locally on the device for widget functionality.
If you contact us by email, we process:

any information you choose to include in your support request
We use this data solely to communicate with you and respond to your request.

Data processed for subscription management may include:
an anonymous app user identifier generated by the purchase system
subscription / entitlement status
product, package, offering, and transaction-related status information

Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR, where applicable: explicit consent for the processing of health data you choose to connect through Apple Health / HealthKit or Health Connect
You may revoke permissions or consent-based access at any time through the relevant device or platform settings.
