Since 1987, companies from around Maine have gathered on the track for friendly competition in races, field events, and team relays.
The two month season offers your Maine employees a unique way to promote fitness and encourage teamwork throughout your local work force.
Hundreds of athletes aged 18-94 from 12 teams along with those competing "unattached" participated in MECTA's 2026 season. Start thinking about joining us in 2027.

The City of South Portland corporate track team holds the Blake-Brennan-Olson trophy presented to the top scoring team at the MECTA State Championship. The team is made up of teachers, members of the fire/rescue team, and other municipal and school employees along with their family members.
