Use this article if you're an Exchange or compliance administrator and want to learn about mailbox archives that provide more storage space for users' online mailboxes. This additional mailbox storage might be needed to support your organization's message retention, eDiscovery, and hold requirements.

After you turn on archive mailboxes, sometimes also known as In-Place Archiving, a user's current mailbox becomes their primary mailbox and an additional and associated mailbox is created, called the archive mailbox.

Users can access and store messages in their archive mailboxes by using Outlook and Outlook on the web. Users can also move or copy messages between their primary mailbox and their archive mailbox. They can also recover deleted items from the Recoverable Items folder in their archive mailbox by using the Recover Deleted Items tool.

Messages can also be moved automatically to the archive mailbox by the default Exchange retention policy from the messaging records management (MRM) feature. This default policy is automatically assigned to every mailbox and does the following actions:

After a user's archive mailbox is enabled, up to 100 GB of extra storage becomes available. If users need more storage space than this 100 GB, enable auto-expanding archiving to provide up to 1.5 TB of additional storage in archive mailboxes. For more information, see Learn about auto-expanding archiving.

In Mail if you go to Mailbox/New Mailbox... you can create a new mail folder down the left for dragging/dropping emails into. I've done this loads of times and have about 10 mailbox folders down the left side.

Sorry, but my original post might not have been clear enough. I thought I explained that everything you suggest I do, I have already done, and they don't work. My mailbox folder is just stuck, like there is a bug in the system and I can't get rid of it.

Glenn. That worked. I went to Go/Library and to the Mail V4 folder, found the folder/mailbox, deleted it. Then, I re-opened Mail and the mailbox was still there, but this time when I tried to delete it it actually deleted.

When you rebuild mailboxes for IMAP or Exchange accounts, messages and attachments stored on your computer are discarded, and then downloaded again from the mail server to your Mac. Your mailbox appears empty until the download is complete.

If your mailbox is actually struck by a snowplow, the city will repair or replace the mailbox, providing it's a standard design that conforms to U.S. postal specifications for minimum height and setback.

In addition to the U.S. Postal Service specifications, mailboxes must have a 10-inch clear-zone below the physical box. Therefore, any newspaper boxes or ornaments must be at least 10 inches back from the front of the mailbox. Damage to non-standard mailbox assemblies will be reimbursed on a sliding scale, based on the mailbox value. Some examples of non-standard boxes are brick planters, mailboxes with custom lettering, custom designing or larger than standard installations.

Mailboxes should be installed and maintained to withstand snow coming off the end of the plow. If damage occurs due to snow discharge or snow storage, the city will not be responsible for repairs. The mailbox repair policy was revised by City Council in 2014.

City staff investigates each complaint. If an inspection shows that the mailbox was hit by a plow or other piece of equipment, a temporary mailbox is installed. Then in the spring, repairs are made to conforming installation.

If your email is stored on an email server such as Exchange, when your mailbox reaches its upper limit your administrator might start limiting functionality. For example, at 90 MB you might get a warning, at 100 MB you might be unable to send email, and at 110 MB you might be unable to receive email.

Property owners of single-family residential units (including duplexes and triplexes) are eligible to participate in the program. Tenants may also participate with written permission from their landlord (necessary as the mailbox will be owned by the property owner). Mailboxes are available on a first come first served basis and limited to one mailbox per addressed residence within the City of Lake Forest Park.

A mailbox will be reserved upon receipt of a complete application and payment. Once the city has received a significant number of applications, we will place a bulk order for mailboxes. Once we receive the mailboxes, you will be contacted to pick yours up.

The Mail Boss 7500 Mail Manager Pro in black (see images above) has been selected for the program based on durability, security, product warranty, and price. The mailbox will cost $121.44 ($99.20 plus $11 shipping and $11.24 sales tax) which is significantly lower than the retail cost of $160. Payments can be made in person to City of LFP by cash, card*, or check (*additional service fee applies).

Currently I have an email mailbox (info@*******.com) which is paid for through 123 reg.co.uk but I'd like the same email address through a Google Workspace account. Could anyone let me know if this is possible and if so, how do I go about transferring it over?

3) Set up info@example.com as an account in that new Google Workspace instance, and change things around so that mail gets delivered there instead of to the info@example.com mailbox hosted by 123reg.co.uk. See =en for quick-start guides for how to do that, including how to transfer your old email over into Google.

USPS marked packaged delivered at mailbox and there is nothing there. I opened a case with eBay which denied my claim for a refund. I was expecting to be covered by the Buyer Protection Program. I talked to people at my Post Office and and I opened a case with the 800 number which takes an eternity to talk to someone.

There is a substitute carrier delivering for my route which I think he fouled up and placed it in an incorrect mailbox. I asked three neighbors in my complex who claim not to have an incorrect parcel.

IF that GPS location is the address on your order then you were the victim of 'porch pirates" - i.e. someone stole the item out of your mailbox. Buyers are responsible to have a secure place for delivery.

After we receive a report of a damaged mailbox, staff will conduct an inspection and determine if the two criteria were met. We'll contact you directly to let you know the results of the inspection and how the reimbursment will be distributed.

My mailbox has been in the same place for years. Why did it get knocked off and broken now?

This could be due to any number of factors. Direct contact with a plow or snow removal equipment, weight of the snow exiting the blow, age of the post/mailbox, or improper placement could all play a role.

Why is the placement of my mailbox important?

Plows are designed to avoid contact with mailboxes that are installed according to USPS regulations. A mailbox that is too low and/or too close to the curb line could put it in line with the path of the plow, making it more likely to be damaged.

Here's something interesting that Im currently digging into. I regularly manage an O365 Tenant (mostly exchange online) that recently is having a considerable amount of mailboxes blocked due to outbound spam. The regular mailboxes are fairly straightforward to diagnose: an attacker takes hold of the password and starts sending "enlarge your penis pills" and "hot singles in your area" emails in bulk.
