Mahmoud Abouyoussef

Mahmoud Abouyoussef is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Central Arkansas, Conway, AR, USA since August 2022. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Tennessee Technological University, TN, USA, in 2022. Dr. Abouyoussef also holds two M.Sc. degrees from Mid Sweden University in Sweden and Misr International University in Egypt, in Electronic Design and Electronics and Communications in 2012 and 2019, respectively. He received the Eminence Award for the Doctor of Philosophy Best Paper from Tennessee Technological University. His research is on the security and privacy of Smart Cities and Healthcare Systems. His research interests include blockchain, cryptography, network security, vehicular networks, healthcare applications, and quantum computers' impact on security.
