Mahendiran Durairaj
Mahendiran Durairaj was born in Karur, Tamil Nadu, India. He completed his schooling at Vivekananda Higher Secondary School, Karur, and earned a B.Sc. in Physics (2010–2013) from Government Arts and Science College, Karur. He then pursued an M.Sc. in Physics (2014–2016) at Gandhigram Rural Institute, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate (2019–present) in the AcSIR-RMIT Joint Ph.D. program at the CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), Karaikudi, India, and RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia, under the supervision of Dr. P. Murugan and Prof. Michelle J. S. Spencer. His doctoral research focuses on understanding the structural and property relationships of SiC-based nanostructures for nanoelectronic and energy storage applications.
