All Magnolia Forest Residents (HOA Members and non-members) who are patrons of Waste Management and in attendance at the General Membership Meeting on Thursday, December 12, 2024 will be asked to vote on whether Magnolia Forest Subdivision will continue to have recycling.
If Magnolia Forest Subdivision Residents vote FOR recycling, your monthly fee will be $27.00.
If Magnolia Forest Subdivision Residents vote AGAINST recycling, your monthly fee will be $21.49.
Waste Management requires both paperless billing and autopay set up on your account to receive these rates. Magnolia Forest Subdivision must also maintain a 90% usage/signup of residents to guarantee these negotiated rates.
This measure is put forward to all Magnolia Forest Subdivision Residents and will be decided by a popular vote— one vote per household. Absentee Ballot Voting period is today through Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 10am, no exceptions. All votes will be tallied, verified, and will be combined with in-person votes from the General Membership Meeting.
Refer to the October newsletter for more information, but at a high-level:
A vote FOR recycling means all Waste Management patrons will be charged $5.50 per month for once-every-2-weeks curbside recycling pickup. Magnolia Forest Residents will be provided with (1) 96-gallon recycling cart at no charge.
A vote AGAINST recycling means Magnolia Forest Subdivision will no longer have recycling and no Magnolia Forest Residents will be charged the additional monthly fee.
If you cannot attend the General Meeting, this Absentee Ballot may be used for Measure 1-Waste Management Recycling Measure.
