# Privacy Policy — Magic Cube: Solver & Timer
**Last updated: July 6, 2026**
This Privacy Policy explains how UMAXSOFT ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in
connection with the mobile application **Magic Cube: Solver & Timer** ("the App") on the
Apple App Store and Google Play.
We built the App to respect your privacy. The App does not require you to create an account,
and we do not operate servers that collect your personal information. The limited data
described below is processed on your device or by trusted third-party services (advertising
and app-store providers). By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
## 1. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do **not** ask you to register, sign in, or provide your name, email, or phone number.
- We do **not** save, upload, or share the photos or video from your camera (see Section 2b).
- We do **not** run our own analytics servers, and we do **not** sell your personal data for money.
## 2. Information Processed by the App
**a. Data stored only on your device.** Your settings (language, sound, haptics, cube style
and colors), first-launch/onboarding state, and your timer solve history and statistics are
stored locally on your device using standard operating-system storage. This data never leaves
your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
**b. Camera (cube scanning).** If you use the camera-scan feature, the App uses your device
camera to detect the colors of your physical cube. Camera frames are processed in real time on
your device only. Images are **not** stored, uploaded, or shared. You can deny or revoke camera
permission at any time in your device settings.
**c. Purchases.** If you buy a Premium subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple
(App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive confirmation that a valid purchase exists so we
can unlock premium features; we do **not** receive or store your payment-card details.
## 3. Information Collected by Third-Party Advertising
To keep the App free, we show ads through **Google AdMob** (Google Mobile Ads SDK). To serve
ads and prevent fraud, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process:
- Device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID / IDFA / GAID)
- Advertising data (ads shown, taps, and interactions)
- Approximate (coarse) location and IP address
- Device, operating-system, and connection information
- Crash and performance diagnostics
Depending on your consent and settings, ads may be **personalized** or **non-personalized**.
Some of this data may be used to track you across other apps and websites for advertising
purposes. This processing is governed by Google's policies:
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses information from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
## 4. Your Choices and Consent
- **EU / UK / EEA:** On first launch you will see a consent request (Google UMP) where you can
accept or decline personalized ads.
- **iOS:** You control tracking through the App Tracking Transparency prompt and in
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. You can reset your advertising identifier in Settings.
- **Android:** You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in
Settings → Google → Ads.
- You may withdraw ad-personalization consent at any time using the device controls above.
## 5. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is **not directed to children under 13** (or the
equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from
children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we
will take appropriate action.
## 6. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and Similar Laws)
Because we do not maintain accounts or our own database of your personal information, most data
is either stored on your device (which you control) or handled by Google and Apple. Subject to
applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing
of personal data.
- To exercise advertising-related choices, use the device controls in Section 4.
- **California (CCPA/CPRA):** We do not sell your personal information for money. However, the
use of advertising identifiers for personalized ads may be considered a "sale" or "share" of
personal information under certain laws. You can opt out by declining personalized ads using
the controls in Section 4.
- For other requests, contact us using the details in Section 10 and we will respond as required
by law.
## 7. Data Retention and Security
On-device data remains until you delete it or uninstall the App. Data handled by third parties is
retained according to their own policies. We use reasonable measures to protect information, but
no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
## 8. International Users
The third-party services we use may process data in countries other than yours. By using the App,
you understand that your information may be processed where those providers operate.
## 9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page
with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept
the updated policy.
