There is just something special about this time of year.  Whether it's the music, the decorations, the smells or maybe just the fact people are nicer, it's a time like no other.  For me personally, it has a lot to do with nostalgia, remembering people and times gone by -- the anticipation, excitement and for Kiwi kids, six long weeks of summer holidays spent at the beach, river, pool or just at home running around barefoot on the grass.  To me it is not just a season -- it's a feeling.  I put this site together so that whenever I need that feel-good buzz I have somewhere to go.  These pages are about anything and everything festive, wherever it is in the world.
