I am a Sociology PhD candidate at The Ohio State University, where I research poverty governance, domestic violence, and housing inequalities. My work is supported by the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and can be found in the Sociology of Race and Ethnicity and Social Currents.
I received my M.A. in Sociology from The Ohio State University (2024) and my B.A. in Sociology and Feminist Studies from Southwestern University (2019).
Prior to graduate school, I project managed one of the largest federal youth homelessness grants in the U.S. and worked with a variety of community stakeholders to address housing insecurity in San Antonio, TX.
In my free time, I enjoy playing pickleball, writing poetry, and spending time with my cat.
