INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy explains how Made Easy ("the App", "we", "our", "us") handles your information. Made Easy is an AI-assisted food-logging and nutrition-tracking app: you can photograph meals or nutrition labels for automatic macro extraction, generate meal-prep plans from photos of your fridge, estimate body composition from a body photo, log weight, and track personalised calorie/macro goals.
This policy is written to comply with the Apple App Store Review Guidelines (including Section 5.1 — Data Collection and Storage), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act 2018, and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA).
DATA WE COLLECT, WHY, AND HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Photos of meals, nutrition labels, your fridge/cabinet, or your body that you submit for analysis are sent over HTTPS to the AI processing service for analysis and discarded server-side. A copy may be stored on your device until you delete the entry or uninstall.
Weight entries, body-composition estimates, calorie and macro logs, and daily totals are stored on-device only in AsyncStorage. Health & fitness data is never sent to us and retained until deletion or uninstall.
Profile inputs including gender, age, weight, height, activity level, fitness goal, target weight, body-fat target, muscle-mass level, and preferences are stored on-device only to compute personalized targets. These are retained until app deletion.
A locally generated app user ID is used by the subscription service to identify your subscription entitlement. This is stored on-device and on RevenueCat's systems.
Subscription entitlement status is managed by RevenueCat and cached locally for offline functionality.
Anonymous crash data may be collected by Apple if opted in at the OS level.
WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT
We do not run any analytics or advertising SDK. No Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, Sentry, AppsFlyer, Branch, or similar tooling.
We do not collect device advertising identifiers (IDFA) or perform tracking as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
We do not access your microphone, contacts, calendar, location, GPS, or IP-based geolocation.
We never receive your payment card details. All payments are handled by Apple or Google.
We do not maintain a user-account database of our own.
HOW YOUR DATA IS USED
Provide the core service: Photos are sent to the AI service to identify foods, extract nutrition information, suggest meal plans, or estimate body composition.
Compute your goals: Profile inputs are processed on-device to calculate calorie and macro targets.
Manage subscriptions: Purchase entitlement is verified through RevenueCat.
Default your language: On first launch, we read your device language and App Store region settings to suggest a starting language.
We do not profile you, sell your data, share it with data brokers, or use your data for advertising.
THIRD PARTIES
Rork AI Toolkit (toolkit.rork.com) receives the photo and prompt you submit to identify food, extract nutrition data, generate meal plans, and estimate body composition. See https://rork.com/privacy
RevenueCat receives your app user ID and transaction status to verify and manage subscriptions. See https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
Apple / Google — In-App Payments process your subscription purchases. Subject to Apple's and Google's privacy policies.
Made Easy does not sell, rent, or lease your personal data to any third party.
DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Photos submitted for analysis are not retained on the server beyond the analysis request. On-device copies remain until you delete the related log entry or uninstall the App.
Logs, profile, and preferences are stored on your device and remain until you delete them or uninstall.
Subscription records are retained by RevenueCat per their policy.
To delete your data:
Delete individual entries inside the App.
Uninstall the App to remove all local data.
Email snapit.foranything@gmail.com with subject line "Delete My Data" to request deletion of any data associated with your account by RevenueCat or our service providers. We will respond within 30 days.
DATA SECURITY
All network traffic uses HTTPS / TLS.
App data is stored in the OS-isolated app sandbox.
We do not maintain our own user database; we rely on RevenueCat for entitlement state.
INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
The Rork AI Toolkit, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google may process data in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where required, transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland are protected by appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) maintained by those providers under their own privacy programs.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Made Easy is intended for users 13 years of age or older. The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has used the App, contact snapit.foranything@gmail.com and we will assist in deleting any related data.
YOUR RIGHTS
Everyone has the right to: access your logs, profile, and history in the App; rectify and correct profile fields and log entries; erase entries or uninstall; and withdraw consent by stopping use of the App.
European Economic Area, UK, Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR) residents have additional rights including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Our lawful bases are: your consent when submitting a photo, performance of a contract for paid features, and legitimate interests in operating and improving the App.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know, delete, correct, limit use of sensitive personal information, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your personal information as defined under CCPA/CPRA.
To submit any rights request, email snapit.foranything@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request". We will verify your identity and respond within 30 days (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA), as applicable.
APP TRACKING TRANSPARENCY
Made Easy does not track you in the sense defined by Apple. We do not link data with third parties for advertising or measurement, and we do not share device identifiers with data brokers. The App does not present an ATT permission prompt.

Made Easy provides nutrition and body-composition estimates for informational and motivational purposes only. The App is not a medical device and its outputs are not medical, dietary, or fitness advice. Consult a qualified professional for advice tailored to your situation.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, by an in-App notice on next launch. Continuing to use the App after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Policy.
