2022
after being inspired in a conversation with a remarkable individual, i wrote and published an article. it reached people far and wide, including a writer and editor at the Visala Andhra newspaper in India. it was translated into Telugu and published in the newspaper in August.
2022
i designed a prototype for a carpool app. working through flow charts, user experience, and the interface elements has been a learning experience that has prepared me to take on new challenges and adapt to a new mindset.
ever since i received my first 3d printing pen, I have always had a fascination with 3d printing. After receiving my BEAM Makerspace certification at UNC Chapel Hill and many unfortunate events, I printed modern representations of traditional African Newspaper Dolls, a craft that I would often spend hours doing as a kid.
NC STATE DESIGN IMMERSIONS CAMP 2021
in a span of 5 days, i learned about thoughtful design and designed a futuristic treehouse that accommodates the diverse personas we created. through this presentation, you can see the design process i underwent in the creation of my futuristic rubics-cube-resembling-treehouse.

ACE MENTORSHIP 2020-2021
throughout the year, we developed our tiny home using the info we learned from each week's lesson. our tiny home had to meet certain requirements and navigate limitations assigned to us by our mentors. during this project, i enjoyed envisioning our visions through the 3d simulators.

my first video to show you my growth!
2023
as i travel and experience more of the world, i have become passionate about recording my memories in the forms of videos. since my first vlog of a family vacation, which, for the record was horrible and vertigo-inducing, i have learned to take better videos using different techniques, see moments through a more artistic lens, which is then reflected in the overall video, and edit using new software. my videos have reached up to 1k views on YouTube
over the years, every camera in my house has slowly come into my possession. my love for capturing moments is inherited by my dad, who used to follow us around with cameras. now, i do the same and have refined my techniques by watching videos and learning from experience.
ACE MENTORSHIP 2021-2022
throughout the year, i developed designs for a bridge and kiosk, given a landscape and purpose. the presentation features vision boards and inspiration images, and sketches i drew during the ideation process. this year, i received a scholarship from ace mentorship program to nc state's residential computer science camp.
helped a team of investors visualize their ideas for their upcoming grocery store's floorplan.
quick sketches to envision changes for my closet and to help convince my parents to let me do so:)
learning Carnatic music for 11 years and have taken a leap of faith into Indian film music, choral music, and other new genres.
the bottom video is one of the final videos from a Melodie. lab. Melodie. is an organization I founded to, very affordably, introduce individuals to new genres of music and create fun, safe spaces for them to use their voices. I partnered with Yuwa, a school in Jharkhand, India combatting the system of gender inequality and child marriage, to bring music into the girls' worlds. Watch this video to see the students and I sing a song about togetherness from the film Oh Baby!
*Fun fact: the original singer commented on our video:)
