I believe that Tableau offers different ways to export data into different formats (eg, .csv, .xml,..). Once you have extracted the data with one of those formats, you can use the dedicated node into KNIME (eg file reader, xml reader, ..) to read the data. If you are using Tableau Server you can use the Get Request node to get the data using RESTful Webservices.
It would be nice to have the ability to automatically generate twbx files from a master Tableau workbook so that end users can open the file in Tableau reader. For example, if I were creating separate CSV files with my data for each state I would similarly want to create them as a ready to consume twbx file with Tableau Reader.
Tableau Reader allows you to read the Tableau file types. If you want to share your workbook by sending a file, the receiver will need a Tableau reader to open the document. Without the reader, you may need share it publicly or convert the workbook into a PDF format.
The employee portal has supported screen readers for years, but accessing it was more complicated and turning it off required navigating to the bottom of the page. Screen-reader users had to select the mode each time they visited the portal.
Another new enhancement is that the mode enabled in the employee portal will remain enabled for that specific user even after they end the initial session. Each time they log in, screen reader mode will be enabled unless they opt to turn it off.
