Hi I have been watching awesome animations on youtube and I was like, I am so going to do that. So then I watched how to vids and found out about Macromedia flash professional 8 which is what a lot of people are using, for free. Now I know that Adobe wold never give something as good as this for free but couldn't find anywhere to buy it and I didn't want to get any malware, spyware, and or virus can someone please help me. By the way I do not have the money to get CS6 or any thing like that.
yes, I understand that. I used to want to use Opentoonz as my main software, but I chickened out of the program after just a few days of trying to learn the UI of the program and turned to Macromedia flash. I haven't looked back since. And I respectfully disagree with your statements of "Other freeware alternatives are more powerful" These ancient versions may not be the most modern, but still can be considered good even in this day and age. Another thing is that this version of flash is very beginner-friendly, and is better for a younger audience. one last thing, what were you trying to imply here then if you weren't trying to say that you don't understand why younger animators use flash

I took copies of the old edited shapes and replaced them with new correct ones but when I publish the file to be in *.swf format or expert it to flash it did not work as they are not there at all.it may be a type mismatch but I downloaded and installed old flash software version (Macromedia Flash 8.0) to read and publish them but it gives file reading error and was unable to read or manipulate them at all.

Grasberg, one of the largest peaks of the Sudirman range of West Papua, to an intensely excavated plateau has been quite devastating. Tribes were forcefully relocated, leaving thousands of indigenous people removed from their traditional farming and food gathering territories. Moving Amungme to the more tropical lowlands brought people without natural malarial immunity into contact with malaria carrying mosquitoes, which has led to an increase in mortality rates.
The vast Grasberg copper and gold mine (figure 1), at over 2.6M hectares, was first prospected thoroughly by Dutch geologists in the 1930s. It comprises several delicate ecosystems - alpine meadow, wetland and mangrove forest - which make this environmental site world-renowned for its range and diversity of flora and fauna. The mine is seen at the left with glaciers at the right. The accelerated rate of mine and infrastructure development and consequential environmental destruction are set against a backdrop of rising tension. The strong indigenous desire for West Papuan independence, which began during the Indonesian occupation in the1960s, places Grasberg's Freeport mine as a strong contender for the worst case of environmental and human rights abuse of any mining project currently underway in the world.
