How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.
If you want an open-ear fit that keeps your ears unblocked for running, cycling and all-day wear, choose MAcnas Open Ear Clip; if you need a tiny in-ear pair that doubles as sleep buds with longer battery life, choose FADCAMELOS Aesthetic.
• MAcnas Open Ear Clip — biggest strength: a true open-ear clip design with 16.2mm dynamic drivers, Bluetooth 5.4 and a charging case with LED power display, so nothing ever sits inside your ear canal.
• MAcnas Open Ear Clip — biggest trade-off: 5 hours of playback per charge and a 1.5-hour charge time, so heavy listeners will be reaching for the case more often.
• FADCAMELOS Aesthetic — biggest strength: a 2-in-1 dual-mode setup (day mode plus a sleep mode that locks the touch controls) with 8–9 hours per charge and up to 25 hours total from the case.
• FADCAMELOS Aesthetic — biggest trade-off: it's an in-ear design, so it physically blocks your ear canal and won't give you the open, hear-your-surroundings feel.
• Who MAcnas is for: runners, cyclists, hikers and anyone who wants situational awareness plus a lighter, more breathable fit.
• Who FADCAMELOS is for: side sleepers, small-ear users and people who want one pair to cover both daytime listening and bedtime.
The MAcnas Open Ear Clip is built around one idea: don't plug the ear. The earbuds rest gently on top of the ear with an adjustable clamping angle, and the spec sheet calls out a lighter, more breathable feel than in-ear headphones — which is exactly the argument for wearing them for hours at a stretch. The sound side is handled by 16.2mm dynamic drivers, which the manufacturer describes as roughly three times larger than typical earbud drivers, paired with directional audio technology and a spatial stereo algorithm for a wider, more three-dimensional presentation. Frequency range is listed at 20Hz–20,000Hz.
Connectivity is Bluetooth 5.4, and the pitch is a stable link with low latency so audio and video stay in sync — useful if you're watching something while you move. Pairing is automatic once the case is opened after the first connection, and touch controls on either earbud handle music, volume, calls and the voice assistant. It works with iOS, Android, Macs, computers and laptops, and there's no headphone jack. Battery life is 5 hours per charge from a 300mAh battery, with a 1.5-hour charge time, and the case supports wireless charging with an LED power display. It's rated waterproof, and the manufacturer positions it for outdoor sports and for people who want to protect their hearing by not sealing the ear canal.
Buy it if you run, hike or cycle and want to hear traffic and your surroundings; if you dislike the pressure of in-ear tips; or if you wear headphones for long stretches and want something breathable. Skip it if you need maximum hours per charge, want a sleep-friendly bud you can lie on, or prefer the isolation an in-ear seal provides.
The FADCAMELOS Aesthetic takes the opposite approach — it goes small and it goes in. Each earbud weighs just 2.5 grams with a 0.39-inch diameter, which is the manufacturer's whole case for calling these comfortable for small ears. The in-ear placement is confirmed in the product details, so expect a sealed fit rather than an open one.
Its headline feature is the 2-in-1 dual-mode design. In day mode they're normal TWS earbuds; at night they switch to a sleep mode aimed at side sleepers, and that mode locks the touch controls so you don't trigger commands by rolling over. That's a genuinely different use case from anything the MAcnas pair is designed for. Sound comes from 8mm dynamic drivers, and calls are handled by ENC AI noise-canceling tech that the manufacturer says suppresses most background noise for clearer voice pickup.
On connectivity it runs Bluetooth 6.0 for a stable, lag-free link. Battery is the clear advantage: 8–9 hours from a single charge and up to 25 hours total with the compact case, though a full charge is listed at 8 hours. It's IPX5 waterproof, controlled by touch, and carries a two-year warranty description. The finish is a deep black, and the age range is listed at 18–60.
Buy it if you want one pair for daytime listening and bedtime, you sleep on your side, you have small ears and find most buds too bulky, or you simply want more hours between charges. Skip it if you need to stay aware of traffic and surroundings, or you dislike the feeling of something sealed inside your ear.

My Verdict
It varies a lot by design. The MAcnas Open Ear Clip is rated for 5 hours of playback per charge from its 300mAh battery. The FADCAMELOS Aesthetic is rated for 8–9 hours per charge, and up to 25 hours of total playback with its charging case.
MAcnas lists a 1.5-hour charge time for the Open Ear Clip. FADCAMELOS lists an 8-hour charge time for the Aesthetic. That's a big gap, so if you're impatient about charging, the MAcnas pair is the quicker one to top up.
The MAcnas Open Ear Clip includes an LED power display on its charging case, which is the most direct way to see charge status. The FADCAMELOS Aesthetic doesn't list a power display in its specs, so you'd rely on whatever indicator your device shows.
The MAcnas Open Ear Clip is the sport pick — open-ear, waterproof, adjustable clamping angle, aimed at running, hiking and cycling. The FADCAMELOS Aesthetic is the sleep pick — in-ear, 2.5 grams per bud, with a sleep mode that locks the touch controls for side sleepers.
