I am a 21 year old Canadian, born and raised in Edmonton, currently completing my 2nd and final year as a Fine Art student at MacEwan University. I consider myself to be very fortunate that art and creative artistic outlets were often accessible to me growing up. Throughout my academic life -- from grade school onward -- I have been surrounded with encouraging and talented art mentors and role models. My now retired high school art teacher, Adele Knowler, was especially influential on my decision to pursue Fine Art in post-secondary. I believe art and the act of creating art are intrinsic parts of who I am, and both continue to shape me as a person.

Through my artwork, I intend to provide others a glimpse into how I experience the world. Much of my work is introspective and reflects my own thoughts and feelings into a visual medium. While I consider myself to be multidisciplinary as a student, painting and illustration are my primary mediums. I heavily reference photography in my paintings, and aim to breathe a sense of interest and sentimentality into the images I recreate.
