There will be a one-week Macaulay2 workshop and a concurrent two-day mini-school held at Tulane University. No previous Macaulay2 experience is required. We would like to welcome all interested in Macaulay2 and especially encourage those from underrepresented groups. This workshop will aim to to expand the capabilities and functionality of Macaulay2 and its accompanying packages and to to bring together members of diverse mathematical communities and begin new collaborations.
The deadline to register and request funding has passed. Funding decisions will be announced soon.
Funding Information
We have funds available for mathematicians who do not have their own funding to attend the workshop. Preference will be given to junior participants. In February you will be contacted with a confirmation that we can fund your trip. Do not book your own hotel and air fare because we will not be able to reimburse those!

Deadline for registration not requesting funding: March 15th.
Ethical Conduct Agreement
We wish for every participant to feel welcome, included, and safe at the workshop. For that reason, we ask participants to be mindful of their words and actions when communicating with others. We all have a bias and make mistakes. With an open mind and a willingness to apologize, we can create a safe space for everybody.
Harassment or discrimination of any kind based on race, color, national origin, sex, pregnancy, age, disability, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression will not be permitted.
Hate speech is not permitted at the workshop. We want to clarify that hate speech does not include the criticism of institutions or governments, but rather that of individuals or groups of individuals, and that we welcome uncomfortable conversations that stimulate a growth mind set.
If there is a situation during the workshop that makes any participant feel unwelcome, we ask them to please talk to one of the organizers so we can help as best as we can.
