1. Introduction
Maamoura Owner ("the App") is the owner/resident management application developed by H Tech Modern Programming ("we", "us", "our") for owners and residents of El Mamoura. The App lets you manage your account and unit, family members, retail workers, access permits, guest invitations, maintenance and party requests, payments, and notifications.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, why it accesses it, how it is used, and the choices available to you. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
2. Who can use the App
The App is intended for authorized owners and residents who hold a valid account issued by El Mamoura. A valid account is required to log in. The App is not directed to children.
3. Information we access and process
a) Account & authentication data
- The phone number and/or national ID you enter to sign in, together with one-time verification codes (OTP) sent via SMS.
- The password you set, and authentication tokens issued by our server that are stored securely on the device using encrypted storage to keep your session active and refresh it.
- Optionally, biometric data (fingerprint / face) stored locally on your device only and used solely to unlock the App. Biometric data is never sent to our servers.
b) Owner profile & unit data
- Your full name, email, phone number, national ID, profile photo, and unit details (building, floor, address) and your car plate number, used to identify you and manage your unit.
c) Family members & retail workers data
- To issue access permits, the App lets you add family members and retail workers. The data you enter — names, national IDs, phone numbers, and profile photos — is sent to our server to create and manage their access permits (card / UHF).
d) Invitations & guest data
- When you create a guest invitation, the App processes guest name, selected access group, expiry date, and any notes you add, and generates a QR code for guest access.
e) Service requests (maintenance & parties)
- Maintenance requests include the type, number of people, description, start/end dates, and car details. Party requests include title, details, event date, and guest count. This information is sent to our server to process your request.
f) Payments & billing data
- The App displays your payment summaries and billing information retrieved from our server. When purchasing invitation packages, payment is processed through our payment provider (Paymob); the App does not collect or store full card details.
g) Camera
- The App may use the device camera to capture photos (such as your profile photo, or document/verification photos) when you choose to do so. Captured images are used only for the purpose you selected and are uploaded to our server with the relevant record. The camera is accessed only while you are using the relevant feature and is never used in the background.
h) Device & technical data
- Basic device information (such as device model/identifier) and a push-notification token may be processed to deliver notifications and to secure the service. We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (a Google service) to send push notifications related to the App's operation.
4. How we use the information
We use the information described above to:
- Authenticate you and keep your session secure.
- Manage your account, unit, family members, retail workers, and their access permits.
- Create and manage guest invitations and their QR codes.
- Submit and track maintenance and party requests.
- Display your payments, billing, and invitation balance.
- Send operational and account-related notifications.
- Maintain security, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
5. Permissions summary
- Internet — Communicate with our secure servers to log in and manage your data.
- Phone / SMS — Send and auto-fill the one-time verification code (OTP) used to verify your account.
- Camera — Capture profile and document/verification photos when you choose to.
- Biometric — Unlock the App using fingerprint / face. Stored on-device only.
- Notifications (Firebase) — Deliver account and operational push notifications.
- Vibrate — Provide feedback on events.
- Boot / Exact alarm — Re-schedule notifications after the device restarts.
- Storage — Securely store your session tokens and login state on the device.
6. Data sharing
We share information only as needed to operate the service:
- With our hosting/back-end servers operated for El Mamoura.
- With Google Firebase for push-notification delivery.
- With our payment provider (Paymob) for processing purchases.
- With SMS providers to deliver verification codes.
- When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing.
7. Data storage and security
Authentication tokens and sensitive values are stored on the device using encrypted secure storage. Data transmitted to our server is sent over the network to our backend endpoints. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Data retention
Account, unit, and operational records are retained on our servers for as long as necessary for business, accounting, and legal purposes. Authentication tokens stored on the device are removed when you log out or uninstall the App.
9. Your choices
- You can revoke camera or biometric access at any time from your device settings; some features may stop working as a result.
- You can disable notifications from your device settings at any time.
- You can log out to clear your session from the device.

10. Children's privacy
The App is not intended for or directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so it can be removed.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
