About me: I completed my PhD from Imaging and Data Science Laboratory, Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME), University of Virginia (UVa), USA. My PhD dissertation, titled "Transport Generative Models in Pattern Analysis and Recognition," focused on developing mathematical and computational frameworks for artificial intelligence and machine learning . I worked as a research assistant under the supervision of Prof. Gustavo Rohde. I completed my undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). My research interests broadly lie in applied mathematics, machine learning, image informatics, computational biology, pattern recognition, among others.
Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), North South University (NSU), Bangladesh. I am currently teaching courses in Artificial Intelligence (CSE 440), Machine Learning (CSE 445), and programming languages at various levels, including Java (CSE 215 - Programming Language II) and C (CSE 115 - Programming Language I), at North South University.
This website carries a few examples of my core interests, skill-sets, and contributions.
