"nocte dieque incubando". "let's go for the glory".

About me-

A PhD student at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Virginia (UVa) and a research assistant in the Imaging and Data Science Lab under the supervision of Prof. Gustavo Rohde. Completed my undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Research interests broadly lie in applied mathematics, machine learning, image informatics, computational biology, among others.

Newton, when asked how he managed to make all those important discoveries, replied, “Nocte dieque incubando” (meaning “by thinking about it day and night”): a motto of our lab; a motto of me too. I like to think myself as an appreciator of knowledge and science. Thought experiments are always running. Attempts to learn and improve are also un-ending. This website carries a few examples of my core interests, skill-sets, and contributions.
