Welcome to LyricLab. These Terms of Use govern your use of the LyricLab mobile application for iOS devices, operated by New Version Limited, a company incorporated in New Zealand.

By downloading, installing, or using LyricLab, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Application.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using LyricLab, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. Additionally, when using this Application, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services.

 Description of Service

LyricLab is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized song lyrics. The Application offers both free and premium subscription tiers with varying features and usage limits.

Free Tier Features:

- 1 lyric per day

- First 4 music genres (Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, Ballad)

- "Any" mood plus first 3 moods (Romantic, Sad, Happy)

- Hook structure only (2-4 catchy lines)

- Classical Serif font display

- Basic copy and sharing functionality

Premium Tier Features:

- Unlimited daily lyrics with generous usage monitoring

- All 9 music genres and all 8 mood options

- All song structures (Hook, Verse, Verse+Chorus, Full Song)

- Author name display with personal signatures

- Advanced typography with 8-font premium library

- Multi-format image generation and download (Square, Mobile, Landscape, Single Image)

- Background theme customization

- Watermark-free image exports

- Favorites with cloud synchronization

- Priority generation and anti-repetition technology

Age Requirements and Restrictions

LyricLab is suitable for users who are 13 years of age or older (with parental consent for users under 13). The Application generates song lyric content that is appropriate for general audiences. By using this Application, you represent and warrant that:

- You are at least 13 years old or have parental consent if under 13

- You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement (or your parent/guardian consents on your behalf)

- Your use of the Application complies with all applicable laws and regulations

If you are under 13 and do not have parental consent, you may not use this Application.

User Accounts and Registration

You may use LyricLab without creating an account for basic functionality. However, to access cloud synchronization and premium features, you must sign in using Sign in with Apple.

When you create an account, you agree to:

- Provide accurate and complete information

- Maintain the security of your account credentials

- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

Subscription Terms

Premium Subscriptions

LyricLab offers premium subscriptions on a weekly or yearly basis. Subscription prices are set in your local currency and may vary by region.

- Weekly Subscription: $4.99/week - Provides premium access for one week

- Yearly Subscription: $119.00/year - Provides premium access for one year with significant savings

Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of premium features. The free trial is available only once per Apple ID. Your subscription will automatically begin at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before the trial expires.

Auto-Renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your iOS Settings under Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods.

Billing and Refunds

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service. We do not have access to your payment information. All billing inquiries should be directed to Apple Support.

Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple according to their refund policy. We cannot process refunds directly.

Usage Guidelines and Restrictions

Acceptable Use

You agree to use LyricLab only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

- Use the Application for any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts

- Violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, or laws

- Harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate

- Submit false or misleading information

- Upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code

- Collect or track personal information of other users

- Spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape

- Interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Application

- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application

Content Guidelines

The song lyrics generated by LyricLab are created by artificial intelligence based on your selected preferences. While we strive to provide appropriate content, you acknowledge that:

- Generated content may occasionally be inappropriate or offensive

- You are responsible for reviewing content before using it

- You should use generated lyrics appropriately and respectfully

- The Application is intended for lyric creation and sharing among users

We reserve the right to monitor usage patterns and implement safeguards to prevent misuse of the Application.

Abuse Prevention and Fair Use

To ensure fair usage and prevent abuse of our AI services, we implement usage monitoring and limits:

Free Users:

- Limited to 1 lyric per day

- No additional restrictions due to built-in limits

Premium Users:

- Generous usage allowances with monitoring for extremely high usage

- Temporary cooldown periods may apply after extended heavy usage

- Usage patterns are monitored to prevent abuse of AI services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in abusive usage patterns that may negatively impact service quality for other users.

Intellectual Property Rights

Application Ownership

LyricLab, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by New Version Limited and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Generated Content

ong lyrics generated by the Application are provided for your personal use. You may use generated lyrics for their intended purpose of creative expression and sharing. This includes:

- Personal sharing via text or image formats

- Social media posting with proper attribution

- Personal gifts and creative projects

- Educational and non-commercial use

However, you may not:

- Commercially redistribute generated content without permission

- Claim authorship of AI-generated lyrics

- Use generated content for automated or bulk messaging systems

- Attempt to reverse engineer the AI generation process

- Remove watermarks from free tier image exports

User Content

Any content you provide to the Application remains your property. By providing such content, you grant us a limited license to use it solely for the purpose of generating lyrics for you.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using LyricLab, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Key privacy commitments:

- We do not sell your personal information

- Generated lyrics are not stored permanently

- We only use the inputs you provide for lyric generation

- All data is encrypted and securely stored

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Availability

We strive to maintain continuous service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Application may be temporarily unavailable due to:

- Scheduled maintenance

- Technical difficulties

- Third-party service interruptions

- Force majeure events

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Song lyrics generated by LyricLab are created by artificial intelligence and are provided for creative and entertainment purposes. We do not guarantee:

- The appropriateness of all generated content

- The effectiveness of lyrics for their intended purpose

- That generated content will be suitable for all recipients or situations

You are solely responsible for how you use generated lyrics and any consequences of their use.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, New Version Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:

- Loss of profits

- Loss of data

- Loss of use

- Loss of goodwill

- Business interruption

- Any other commercial damages or losses

Our total liability to you for all damages shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Application in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Warranty Disclaimer

LyricLab is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

- Merchantability

- Fitness for a particular purpose

- Non-infringement

- Accuracy of information

- Uninterrupted service

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless New Version Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

- Your use of the Application

- Your violation of these Terms

- Your violation of any rights of another person or entity

- Any content you provide to the Application

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Application immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

- Breach of these Terms of Use

- Violation of applicable laws

- Abuse of the service

- Non-payment of subscription fees

- Extended periods of inactivity

Upon termination:

- Your right to use the Application ceases immediately

- You must delete the Application from your devices

- Subscription benefits end immediately

- Stored data may be deleted from our servers

You may terminate your account at any time by:

- Uninstalling the Application

- Cancelling your subscription through iOS Settings

- Contacting us to request account deletion

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Application shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

If you are located outside New Zealand, local laws may also apply to your use of the Application.

 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify users of material changes through:

- In-app notifications

- Email notifications (if you have provided an email address)

- Updated terms posted within the Application

Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to modified terms, you must stop using the Application.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

- Acts of God

- Natural disasters

- War or terrorism

- Government actions

- Internet service interruptions

- Third-party service failures

Customer Support

Support and Technical Assistance

When you contact us for customer support through the Application, you acknowledge and agree that we may automatically collect and use technical information from your device to provide better assistance. This includes:

- Application version and build number

- Device model and operating system version

- Subscription status and account information

- Usage statistics and app performance data

- User identifier for account-related inquiries

This information is collected solely for the purpose of providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and improving our customer service. We use this data only to assist you with your inquiry and do not share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

Apple App Store

LyricLab is distributed through the Apple App Store and is subject to Apple's Terms of Service. In case of conflict between these Terms and Apple's Terms of Service, Apple's terms shall prevail for matters related to the App Store.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and New Version Limited regarding the use of LyricLab and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
