I know the existence of Polyline in Google Maps API, but it's just connecting two latitude points, and there is no way of making it automatic so I could display any street in some city.

I made this project a few weeks ago when the Covid-19 "Circuit Breaker" was still active in Singapore. When I was studying in the US, I was inspired by wooden laser-cut maps that people were selling online and thought to myself. Wouldn't it be great if I were to represent the local districts of Singapore in an abstract form too? These decorative maps serve as conversational pieces for visitors into your home and I thought it would be great to experiment making one for my district too.

You are better to generate a (free) vector map with

You'll get different vector layers for streets, buildings, water, ...

You'll be able to finetune everything much much better and lasercut better maps.

Nevertheless... very nice result!

I use OpenTopoMap, because I prefer their download system (two files for each country - map + countours) and data visualization (but sometimes, especially in the center of the city, labels with long street names cover he entire area of the map and then is not readable.

That's quite a bold statement. I have no problems with my maps. I see there are some who are having problems with the European maps, but what makes you say Garmin is doing nothing about it? Do you have some inside information the rest of us are unaware of, or are you making unsubstantiated remarks because it hasn't been fixed in a timely fashion for you?

Good for you. But that problem was already on older maps, so it's not anything new. It's just the map updates does something that makes the watch totally borked and slow.

So it's not bold claim, it's a claim based on reality.

For many years, INDOT stocked and distributed free roadway maps in interstate rest areas and provided them to businesses and citizens as requested. INDOT and the Indiana Destination Development Corp. decided in 2021 to no longer print the annual state roadway map. INDOT distributed remaining maps until the supply was exhausted.

With most travelers now using GPS or smartphone map apps, there is far lower consumer demand for printed roadway maps, but INDOT continues to update the map for our website. The current official INDOT state roadway map is available for download below.
