Privacy Policy
Lymph & Lemon app and website
Effective date: 29 September 2026
Lymph & Lemon is built so that your meal plans, food choices and notes stay on your own device. We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't collect, sell or share your personal data for advertising.
Who is responsible
The app is operated by Myrian Aeby, a self-employed professional (autónoma), Carrer del Pintor Vila Prades 20, 1.3, 46008 Valencia, Spain, who is the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What stays on your device
Everything you enter or choose in the app, such as your diet mode, meal plans, grocery lists, recipe ratings, serving sizes and prep sessions, is saved only in your device's local app storage. This information is not transmitted to us or to any server we control, and we have no way to see it.
Some of these choices can relate to your health, for example following a low-oxalate or anti-inflammatory plan, or caring for lipedema. Because this information never leaves your device, we do not process it.
You can delete all of it at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the app.
Notifications
The app may ask for permission to show notifications, for example reminders for prep sessions. This is optional. You can allow or turn off notifications at any time in your device settings, and the app works without them.
Hosting
The app's content is delivered from Netlify, Inc., our hosting provider. When the app or website loads, Netlify's servers automatically receive technical data that every web request contains, such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the time of the request. This is needed to deliver the app securely and is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Netlify may process this data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards. Google Play
If you download the app from Google Play, Google processes data related to your download and any purchase under its own terms. We receive only aggregated statistics and, for purchases, the information Google shares with developers to confirm the order. We do not receive your payment details. See Google's privacy policy.
When you contact us
If you send feedback or a question by email, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use this only to reply to you and improve the app, based on your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep these emails only as long as needed for that purpose and then delete them.
What we don't do
We don't require an account or login.
We don't use advertising, ad identifiers or tracking cookies.
We don't sell or rent personal data to anyone.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, email lymphaandlemon@gmail.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
Children
Lymph & Lemon is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above.
