Lydia's work in Greenpeace

At Greenpeace, Lydia worked as a Climate & Energy Campaigner at Greenpeace East Asia, focusing on advancing renewable energy transition and climate advocacy in Taiwan. Her work bridged research, public engagement, and policy dialogue—turning complex climate issues into accessible narratives. From addressing heat risks and children’s health to exploring “climate inflation,” she connected environmental challenges with everyday life, engaging communities and amplifying public awareness.

Role & Impact

Throughout her time at Greenpeace, Lydia led multi-stakeholder initiatives that brought together government, businesses, and civil society to accelerate climate action. She conducted in-depth research on Taiwan’s renewable energy landscape, organized forums to promote corporate renewable energy strategies, and partnered with parent–child organizations to run citizen-science workshops across the country. As a spokesperson, she advocated for stronger policies and greater corporate responsibility in energy transition. She also represented Greenpeace in presenting the Civic Solar Rooftop Project, sharing insights from on-the-ground community visits and offering actionable recommendations to drive progress toward RE100 and a more sustainable future.
