U4SDGs Facilitator —

Lydia served as a facilitator for the United for the Sustainable Development Goals (U4SDGs) initiative, run by the Kusafiri World Centre under WAGGGS and funded by the European Union's Global Youth Mobilization. The program empowers young leaders from Africa and the Asia-Pacific to advocate for the SDGs, with a focus on SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
Her Roles:
Supported 34 U4SDGs Ambassadors in building leadership skills and deepening SDG knowledge.
Designed and delivered workshops and virtual sessions covering SDGs, project management, and effective reporting.
Mentored the Climate Action group, connecting her professional expertise as a climate campaigner to meaningful youth advocacy work.
Developed cross-cultural facilitation skills, leading sessions in a non-native language and fostering brave, inclusive spaces for diverse participants.
