Early Motherhood

I breastfed all three if my children for 7 years cumulatively, with very little support or knowledge about breastfeeding. I experienced many struggles alhumdulilah and wanted to help other parents so they didn't have to suffer the way I did. I was already an RN so I completed a lactation program and 1,000 hours of clinical experience over 3 years to sit for the International Board exam to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

I became passionate about advocating for better hospital and workplace practices, educating parents on their rights, teaching parents how to breastfeed, pump and bottle feed - and everything in between.

The more support parents have the more likely they are to reach their goals. I became passionate about working with babies who are tongue tied after going through my own experiences with my kids. After doing way too much research and multiple providers I have fine-tuned the process to create less stress for new parents.
