Training Process
Our goal is to help every athlete in our program achieve their full potential though data driven training. And it's easier than most people may think! We break down fundamental skills for younger athletes up to advanced skills for older players and provide scoring for each training program. Once we have a baseline, we set the goal and then get hyper-focused on the details needed for improvement. Both the athlete and parent can track all along where they are improving the most and what areas need more focus.
This translates to speed & agility challenges that are realistic to gameplay as well such as closeouts, retreats & break, evasions, and dodging footwork drills. We can track and measure these drills to show how the athlete is getting faster and improving their reflexes in gameplay scenarios that translate to the field.
About LV Lax Lab Founder
Dan fell in love with lacrosse later in his athletic career, playing 4 years in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC-D3). He was able to build on a background as a lifelong basketball player to develop a field presence that lead him being a 3 year captain, receiving player of the week honors, and solidifying his skillset as a full field LSM and defender with both a long pole and short stick.
Dan currently coaches in the Northwestern Lehigh youth lacrosse program.
