I am a macroeconomist specializing in monetary theory, search theory, and markets with frictions, My research explores topics such as dollarization, asset price volatility, inventory dynamics, and market power. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.
In my job market paper, Hysteresis in Asset Liquidity, I study how experience affects how widely an asset is accepted as a medium of exchange—an idea inspired by Menger (1892) but not yet incorporated into formal monetary models.
I will be joining the University of Western Australia Business School as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) of Economics.
