The winemaker had always had the desire to produce a wine of the Riesling variety, the result of it admiration for those wines from Alsace and Moselo, with a striking flavour and a persistent aroma. He took a chance on poor soil, dry weather and with good sun exposure in Portugal. The time has come to prove that it is possible to produce the wines of this variety, not only with freshness, but also with good alcoholic balance.
